6. Products shaping and finishing

The Longitudinal cutting and Edge cutting machines in FinMach’s Rock Wool Production Lines, are equipped with dustless cutting disks, and cut the product at the desired width, and eliminate the edges. The edges are trimmed in very small agglomerates and sent back into the collecting chamber. The Facing Machine is installed in the Stone Wool Production Lines to apply the facing material (glass tissue, aluminium coated paper foil, pure aluminium foils, etc) in one or in both sides of the rock wool panels. 

Thickens cutting machines are also supplied with single or double thickness saws.

Cross/Flying Cutting Machine

The Cross/Flying Cutting Machine machine, is equipped with dustless cutting disks, to cut the panels at the desired length. The mechanical and the electronic components as well as the automation system are designed to guarantee precisions of +/- 1 mm and high cutting speeds.
