9. Exhaust Gasses Cleaning systems

FinMach offers innovative technologies to reduce pollutants coming out from the melting units and from the Curing Oven, to ensure compliance with the most restrictive emissions regulations. The Exhaust Gasses Cleaning systems are designed according to the BATs guideline for the Rock Wool Production Lines or Stone Wool Production Lines. Effective de-sulphuration units, dust filters, and high-temperature/long-residence-time oxidizers are supplied to reduce Dust, H2S, CO, NOx, VOC, NH3, and others, according to the requirements.

In the Coke Cupola process, the blast air needed for the melting is preheated at high temperatures (650°C and above) utilizing the CO energy present in the Exhaust gasses, limiting thus virtually to zero the need of other fuels.
